I started a meetup group at the end of 2018. It was out of necessity as I found it very difficult to find personal financial information in Ireland, everything that I found online was about 401ks and RothIRAs in the U.S. I was hoping to find other like-minded people that I could talk to about this.
I was very surprised to find a lot of people thinking along the same lines. We meet once per month to talk about the pillars of Financial Independence, fire movement, share ideas, and hopefully learn something new.
It is a no pressure, no sales, open environment where someone new to FI can find out more and someone that is on the path can ask questions or share their findings. Feel free to join an come along to a meetup.
